Is Automotive Window Film Installed Inside or Outside the Vehicle?
Automotive window film is installed on the inside of the vehicle's glass. This protects the film from rain, road debris, and everyday wear like car washes, which helps it last longer and keeps it performing as intended. It also allows for better adhesion, since the interior surface isn't exposed to the same temperature swings as the exterior, and it helps the film do its job of holding shattered glass together in the event of an accident.
