Is Architectural Window Film Installed Inside or Outside a Window?

It depends on the film. Most of Flexfilm's flat glass films — including Dualflex, Chromoflex, Sputterflex, Safetyflex, specialty/decorative films, and Panashield — are installed on the interior side of the glass.

Interior installation protects the film from weather, debris, and everyday contact, and helps the adhesive bond consistently without the temperature swings the exterior surface experiences. Films intended for exterior use require additional edge sealing to qualify for warranty coverage.
