Sprayers and Application Tools for Slip Solution

Pump Sprayers

A hand-pump sprayer is the standard tool for most jobs, giving you a fine, even mist across the glass and the adhesive side of the film. Look for a sprayer with an adjustable nozzle so you can switch between a fine mist for general coverage and a more direct stream for stubborn spots.

Foam Sprayers

Some installers use a foam sprayer for certain steps, which lays down a thicker, more controlled layer of solution — useful in situations where a fine mist would run or evaporate too quickly.

Backpack Sprayers

For large commercial or architectural jobs with a lot of glass to cover, a backpack sprayer keeps both hands free and reduces how often you need to stop and refill, which matters when you're working across multiple large panels or an entire building.

Keeping Sprayers in Good Condition

• Rinse sprayers out between uses, especially if switching between different solutions, to avoid clogging the nozzle with dried residue.
• Check the nozzle regularly — a partially clogged nozzle produces an uneven spray pattern that can leave dry spots during application.
• Store sprayers with the pressure released to reduce wear on the seals over time.
