How do Shop Pay Installments work?

Shop Pay Installments let you split your purchase into scheduled payments using a debit or credit card, through Shopify's partner Affirm. There are two ways it can work, depending on your order total: orders between $50 and $999 can be split into 4 interest-free payments, while orders between $150 and $17,500 can be split into monthly installments that include interest. The option is only available to customers with a United States billing address and phone number — international customers can't use Shop Pay Installments. Gift cards can't be purchased through Installments; if you want gift cards along with Installments-eligible products, place them as two separate orders. There are no late fees if you miss a scheduled payment, though missed or partial payments can affect your credit score or future Shop Pay Installments eligibility — reach out to Affirm support with any payment questions.
