Flexfilm offers pre-assembled tool kits for both DIY and professional installers, covering automotive and architectural work. Whether a pre-made kit or a custom-built one makes more sense depends on where you are in your install journey.

What's in a Pre-Made Kit

Our DIY and Pro tool kits are built around the core categories covered throughout this section — knives and blades, squeegees, slip solution and sprayers, and the small accessories that speed up a job — bundled together at a lower combined cost than buying each category separately, and vetted as a set that actually works well together.

When a Pre-Made Kit Makes Sense

• You're just getting started. A kit removes the guesswork of figuring out what you actually need your first time around.
• You want a known-good starting point. The tools in a kit are chosen to work well together, rather than assembled piecemeal from different sources.
• You value convenience over customization. One purchase, one shipment, ready to go.

When Building Your Own Makes Sense

• You already have strong preferences. Once you've worked with different squeegee hardnesses or blade styles, you'll likely know exactly what you reach for — see our individual tool category guides (Knives & Blades, Squeegees, Scrapers, and the rest) to compare options directly.
• You're replacing or upgrading a single category. If your squeegees are worn out but everything else is fine, there's no reason to buy a whole new kit.

A Reasonable Approach

Many installers start with a pre-made kit to get a solid, working baseline, then replace individual tools with personal preferences as they gain experience and figure out what actually suits their hand, their technique, and the type of work they do most.
