One Installer vs. Two Installers
A second installer becomes genuinely valuable, not just convenient, once a pane gets large enough. Two people can control a larger sheet of film during positioning without it folding or contacting the glass prematurely, work opposite ends of a long squeegee pass simultaneously, and manage water runoff on bigger jobs more effectively than one installer working alone. For very large or difficult panes, budget for two installers rather than assuming one can manage it in the same amount of time.
Elevated and Hard-to-Reach Windows
Upper-floor and high-rise installations may require scaffolding, a lift, or other access equipment — and that equipment needs to be factored into scheduling and pricing before the job starts, not figured out on-site.
