Can Window Film Affect Indoor Plant Growth?
Can Window Film Affect Indoor Plant Growth?
It can, depending on the film. Films that block a significant amount of UV and visible light can affect plants that need high light levels to thrive. Many common indoor plants, however, do well with filtered light — the kind many window films provide while still cutting harmful UV rays.
If you have light-hungry plants near a filmed window, factor their light requirements into your film selection, or place them near unfilmed windows where possible.
