At Flexfilm, we charge for our window film samples—and there's a good reason for it. Our business model is different from a lot of other companies out there. We don't lock you into a closed dealer structure with things like territories, quotas, buy-ins, or other restrictions. That open approach makes it easier for everyone to try our products, but it also opens the door to a few people trying to game the system.
We've seen situations where someone orders a sample not to test the film but to tint part or even an entire vehicle. That's not the point of offering samples, and it hurts our ability to keep things fair for serious installers and business owners who genuinely want to explore our products.
Charging for samples helps us keep the process honest and ensures that the people requesting them are actually considering using our films. But we get it—nobody wants to pay for a test piece and feel like they've wasted money. That's why we make it easy to turn your sample into a win. If you buy a sample roll and decide you like the product, we'll send you a discount code to apply the cost of that sample roll toward your first full roll purchase. It's our way of saying thanks for giving us a try.
We believe in being open and transparent about how we do business. Our goal is to help installers and business owners succeed without the red tape. Charging for samples is just one of the ways we stay committed to fairness while giving you full access to try our films risk-free.

Simple Should Be Superior
Even though Retroflex is our lowest performing product, it's also surprisingly the longest lasting technology you will find in our industry. Simple should be superior.
Proven Track Record — distributed worldwide for over a decade with zero problems.
Color Stable — no fade and color change properties guarantee a rich, black color.
Easy To Install — leading heat shrinking capabilities, anti-static properties, and a pliable 1.5mil thickness guarantees a frustration-free installation.
UV Protection — blocks over 99.9% of A and B ultraviolet (UV) rays from that sun that can lead to skin cancers and skin damage.
The Perfect Match — available in a beautiful, rich black color that is guaranteed to match most factory tint.
Superior Adhesive — long-lasting, strong adhesive bonds to the glass quickly.
Layer Breakdown
Retroflex is built on a tried-and-true dyed window film chassis. This is the simplest construction of window film in our industry. Two layers of polyester glued together with laminate adhesive. On one side is a sticky mounting adhesive and on the other a protective hard coat.
