Plotter Insurance Program

How the Insurance Program Works

Flexfilm’s plotter insurance program is designed to minimize downtime in the event of a covered product failure or defect. Eligible customers pay the applicable deductible and receive a replacement plotter.

Coverage is subject to eligibility verification and claim approval by Flexfilm.

Eligibility Requirements

Customers qualify for enrollment in the plotter insurance program by purchasing a minimum of $3,000 in window film products every six (6) months from Flexfilm.

• Eligibility begins on the date the original plotter is purchased
• Continued eligibility requires maintaining the minimum purchase volume
• Insurance coverage is not transferable

All claims are reviewed to confirm eligibility and coverage. Once approved, a Flexfilm representative will provide next steps and replacement instructions.

Insurance Deductibles by Model

Plotter Limited Warranty

All plotters sold by Flexfilm include a six (6) month limited warranty, beginning on the date the product is received.

Flexfilm provides warranty coverage only for products purchased directly from Flexfilm.

Warranty Coverage Exclusions

The limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

• Abuse, accident, misuse, or neglect
• Improper installation, maintenance, or care
• Unauthorized modifications
• Power surges or electrical issues
• Acts of nature or environmental damage
• Normal wear and tear

Consumable and non-covered components include:

• Blades, blade holders, and pen tools
• Pinch rollers and cutting strips
• USB, serial, power, or grounding cables
• Fuses
• Software (physical or digital)
• Bundled accessories, vinyl, or kit components

Warranty Claims & Replacements

If a warranty issue arises, customers must contact Flexfilm support for troubleshooting prior to any replacement authorization.

Flexfilm reserves the right to:

• Provide replacement parts instead of replacing the entire machine
• Replace eligible units with certified refurbished equipment for items older than 30 days
• Substitute discontinued or unavailable models with equivalent alternatives

Replacement parts ship via ground service at no cost within the United States.

If Flexfilm determines a unit to be unrepairable, an RMA will be issued for return and replacement.

Units returned with damage outside of warranty coverage will be held pending customer instruction and return shipping payment. Unclaimed units may be disposed of after reasonable notice.

Flexfilm is not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, business interruption, personal injury, property damage, or environmental loss.

All implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration specified on the product page at the time of purchase. Products without a stated warranty period are sold as-is without implied warranties.
