Do Labels Matter?
I’ve got two bourbons on my shelf, both from Buffalo Trace, both 107 proof. One is Pappy Van Winkle 15-Year, which can cost a few thousand bucks if you find it. The other is Weller Antique 107, usually under $200. They share the same mash bill, so most of what you’re paying for is the label and a bit of extra aging in the barrel.
This same idea applies to the window film industry. There might be only a handful of places actually making the product, but you’ll see a bunch of different brands selling it. Many times, it’s the exact same film in different packaging. If you skip the fancy label, you can still get a great product without spending top dollar.
So whether you’re picking a bourbon or a window film brand, the real question is: how do you want to spend your money? If you want to stretch your dollar, do some research first. You might find you can get a top-notch experience without paying for the hype. If that's the case, Flexfilm is your one-stop shop for all things window film.
