Hey, my name is Ralph and I'm with Flexfilm. In this video, I'm going to challenge you on how many films you should be carrying. I'm gonna bring in Vegas to make my point. Everybody knows Las Vegas. Everybody knows if you go to Las Vegas you will probably gamble. Everybody knows that if you gamble, there are certain odds of you winning or losing. Think about the odds that you have to make a sale when you're in front of a customer. Think about what their needs are and what your needs are. If you're at Flexfilm and you buy four of our films, then you've got four choices. Here's the question I want to ask you; what do you want to sell? If you've got four films, what do you wanna sell? Most normal people will say, "Well, I wanna sell the one that's the ceramic. I wanna sell the most expensive film I've got." Okay, that's fair enough. Why do you wanna sell that film? "Well, because I make more money. I can work smarter and not harder." Okay, fair enough. So, if you present your customer with four films and you go back to Vegas odds, the way I see it is you got a 25% chance of selling ceramic film. 25%, because there's three other choices. They got a 25% chance of selling either choice you have. Guess what happens if you present them with three films. Now you're at 33.33% odds. Your odds are going up now to sell ceramic film now that you've got three choices. What if you got two choices? Maybe a non-ceramic and a ceramic? You got a 50% chance going for you now. Now, if you really wanna jerk the rug out from everybody, just sell ceramic; you got a 100% chance. If you sell it, that's what you gotta put on.
I'm just trying to get your mind going a little bit because a lot of people don't know how many films to carry or what to carry. But if you ask yourself these simple questions; what do you wanna sell? Why are you there? What do you wanna put on? If you could put that one film on all day, which one do you want it to be? Make that be the one you sell all day long. Whatever that film choice is. And be careful about what you offer your customers or you may pull yourself further away from that film that you wanna sell. Just keep that in mind. Think about Las Vegas odds when you're trying to fill window film. Sometimes it surprisingly may work out for you if you play the odds in your favor.
